New Year Resolutions One Word

As a result many of us will find ourselves making new year s resolutions.

New year resolutions one word. Today is the last day of 2012 and i imagine that many of you are preparing for the year ahead maybe even considering some new year s resolutions. If you are looking forward to a new year or a new season consider throwing away the resolutions and choosing only one word. Last new year s eve i printed out one word resolutions and created a fringe wall as a little takeaway for my neighbors who were coming over to celebrate.

The beginning of a new calendar year is always a great time to start fresh. This idea comes from a book that my new friend mike ashcraft wrote called my one word. One word has changed my life.

Some of us promise to lose weight. From technological advancements changes in societal dynamics to the state of the planet the years have been challenging and shifting our ideals about who we are and who we want to be. This allows one to focus on a particular word which results in an action instead of trying to meet several separate possibly unrelated goals at one time.

For me one word is a lot more do able than a laundry list of resolutions that fade within weeks. Instead i select one word to focus on. Change your life with just one.

I always look forward to sharing my annual one word with family and friends as well as finding out what one words others select for the coming year. Choosing one word makes me stretch higher as i focus on what god has. For only the second time in all these years i m repeating a one word.
